Meet our team of accounting professionals

Ramona Holm

Ramona is the founder of Ramona Holm, CPA Professional Corporation. Ramona began her career in accounting as an inventory clerk 30 years ago. During her early career she held positions such as Office Manager, Accountant, and Director of Finance. Ramona started her public practice in 2003 after obtaining her Certified General Accountant designation. Ramona also holds a Diploma as a Bilingual Word Processor Specialist, and a designation of Certified Divorce Financial Analysis, and finally a Certificate in Adult Training. Ramona is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and QuickBooks Online Advisor.

Connie joined the team in December 2013 and holds the position of Accounting Technician. Connie has over 20 years’ experience in the accounting field. Connie holds a diploma in Business Administration. She has been employed in a variety of positions such as Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, Bookkeeper, as well as Accounting Technician. Connie is responsible for monthly bookkeeping tasks, personal and business tax returns, and payroll services. Connie is outstanding at meeting deadlines and has extension expertise in a variety of accounting programs.

Connie enjoys riding her 750 Blue Yamaha Virago on nice days with her cowboy boots on. In the summer months Connie enjoys spending time at her campsite.



Laura joined the team in February 2011 and holds the position of Director of Communications. Laura has over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. She also worked for 6 years at a Weaver/Knotter in a manufacturing environment. Laura is excellent at communicating with people in an approachable, friendly manner, and she is passionate about meeting the needs of our clients. Most of the time, Laura is the voice you hear on the phone and the person who greets you at the door. Laura keeps us all smiling.

Laura is very dedicated to her family and is involved in a number of community activities related to her children’s interests. Laura’s dream vacation is Bora Bora.

Joan joined the team in February 2020 and holds the position of Quality Manager. Joan has extension experience in the field of accounting and personal income tax. Joan is outstanding at being up to date with personal tax legislation and consistently maintains a high level of accuracy in all the work she does.

Joan loves to dance.



Dawn joined our team July of 2019 and is our Administration Assistant with her primary responsibility at the Collingwood location. Dawn has over 9 years administrative experience working in the Insurance and Legal environment. Dawn will be the voice you hear when you call our Collingwood office.

Dawn just recently obtained her motorcycle license and enjoys riding her bike and playing with her dog Harley during her free time.


Louie has been part of the team since the summer of 2018. He is currently in training as a greeter of the office. He will start part time in the spring of 2020. Louie’s favourite things to do outside of the office is squirrel and bird watching and fetching his ball.

Cooper (Memoriam)

Cooper has been part of the team since 2004 when he joined the family as a puppy. He has been actively involved as the official greeter at the office. Cooper’s favourite things to do outside of the office are going on trail walks and swimming in Georgian Bay.
